Why We Volunteer

Our volunteers come from all over the area to join our team and bring with them a wealth of unique experience and talent. In fact, many of our firefighters have come from other fire stations to gain the experience that only Darby can provide. Read some of the testimonials below to find out why many of our volunteers decided Darby Fire Company #1 was right for them and how they’ve benefitted from the volunteer experience.
